English

This week in English we have been doing creative writing and learnt different ways of creating a piece of writing, like -
Using a simile, Metaphor, Personification, Assonance, Alliteration, Onomatopoeia,Idiom and Hyperbole.  Here a start on my first piece of writing. Its just a start, but I think I did pretty well :D

(As I was laying on my bed I could feel my eyelids closing and the blackness starting to take over and out of nowhere it was pitch black so I Stood up and walked over to turn on my light but couldn't find the switch so I looked for my lamp that was meant to be next to my bed but couldn't’ find that either. Then I tried to feel around to find my bed but I couldn't feel anything, so I tried the dumbest thing ever, I picked a direction and ran as fast as I could. There was nothing at all, so I started freaking out. It was quiet, I was alone and scared, of where I was and who was watching. So I did the thing that everyone would do, I screamed and screamed and screamed but nothing came out, only the sound of my breath.)

Maths

This week in maths we done a lot with Geometry and Angles using geogebra. Each day we do the work assigned to the next checkpoint. Other things we have to create is:
1. Angles on a line
2. Angles on a point
3. Vertically Opposite angles
4. Angles in a triangle
5. Base angles in an isosceles triangle
6. Angles in an equilateral triangle
7. Exterior Angles of a triangle
......
Here's 2 examples

Angles in triangle: They should add up to 180 ( 55+55+70)
Angles on a point : When we connect all the points together they should add up to 360
(122+193+45)

Nuetralisation Experiment

Today In Science we are looking at an experiment to do with Nuetralisation.
FACTS:
Universal Indicator - Shows if its an acid or a base. - By changing colour
Blue Green Red = pH Scale.
Acid is red, base is blue but if it turns green it is neutral which means its both.
The pH scale goes from one to fourteen.
This nuetralisation experiment is using a base and an acid but trying to turn them green to become neutral
An acid is:
Sour
Sweet
Corrode
A Base is:
Its the opposite of the acid and it has a difference with an alkali
Bases that dissolves in water are called alkali's
These picture shows our experiment we did today using Sodium hydroxide, Hydrochloric acid and universal indicator. This is my pH scale that i created using those 3 ingredients
